With experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, Natalia Ogurkiewicz understands how cases are built by the state and won by the defense. She stands beside her clients with strength, strategy, and unwavering integrity.

Natalia Ogurkiewicz is the founder of Corvus Legal LLC, a boutique criminal and constitutional defense firm built on tenacity, precision, and integrity. Before launching Corvus, Natalia served as both a high-level prosecutor and private counsel, handling felony matters at every stage of litigation and securing favorable outcomes on both sides of the courtroom.
Natalia graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, one of the top law schools in the nation. During school, she worked for a plaintiffs’ firm, a large national law firm, and a criminal defense firm. Her exposure to criminal defense in school shaped her lifelong commitment to criminal law and constitutional advocacy. She competed for two years on the National Appellate Advocacy Team and received the Judge Amandus Brackman Moot Court award for excellence in oral and written advocacy.
After law school, Natalia began her career as a prosecutor in the City of St. Louis, where she rose to the Homicide & Violent Crimes unit quickly during the office’s post-COVID recovery. She handled hundreds of felony cases from investigation through first chair and solo trial work. Her practice included charging review, grand jury presentation, intensive motion litigation, and bench and jury trials. During her tenure, she became known for her commitment to criminal justice reform, which extended into her later choice to expose systemic misconduct. Natalia’s refusal to bend to institutional pressure earned her an early reputation for principled, unflinching advocacy.
Outside the courtroom, Natalia is a classically trained harpist who has played since childhood. She credits her music with sharpening her discipline and precision, drawing a direct parallel between mastery of her instrument and mastery of client advocacy at all levels. Her time with her harp, cats, and family serves as reminders that excellence is built through patience, rigor, and devotion.
Natalia is known for her relentless advocacy, strategic sharpness, and refusal to bluff. She brings compassion, intensity, and absolute honesty to every matter, whether defending against felony charges, challenging government overreach, or pursuing post-conviction relief.
